The Indian government has given a big setback to China, now 59 Chinese apps including Tik-Tok have been banned in India.
Government of India has banned 59 apps under section 69A of the IT Act.
Since the border dispute between India and China, there has been a demand to ban the Tik Tok app.
As per the order issued by the Government of India, the government has banned 59 mobile apps which were dangerous to India’s sovereignty and integrity, defense of India, security of the state and public order.
According to the Ministry of Information Technology, there have been many complaints about these apps, many of which talk about misuse of mobile apps.
These apps are stealing data from both iPhone and Android users. The server for all these apps is outside India.
On the possibility of data theft and espionage, the government is believed to be the biggest action ever.

चीन को भारत सरकार ने बड़ा झटका दिया है, अब भारत में Tik-Tok समेत 59 चीनी एप बैन कर दिया हैं।
भारत सरकार ने आईटी एक्ट के 69ए सेक्शन के तहत 59 एप पर प्रतिबंध लगाया है
भारत और चीन के बीच सीमा विवाद के बाद से ही Tik-Tok एप को बैन करने की मांग की जा रही थी।
भारत सरकार की ओर से जारी आदेश के अनुसार, सरकार ने उन 59 मोबाइल एप को प्रतिबंधित किया है, जो भारत की संप्रभुता और अखंडता, भारत की रक्षा, राज्य की सुरक्षा और सार्वजनिक व्यवस्था के लिए खतरनाक थे।
सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय के अनुसार, इन एप्स को लेकर कई शिकायतें मिली हैं, जिनमें कई मोबाइल एप के दुरुपयोग की बाते हैं।
ये एप आईफोन और एंड्रॉयड दोनों यूजर्स का डाटा चोरी कर रहे हैं। इन सभी एप्स का सर्वर भारत के बाहर है।
डाटा चोरी और जासूसी की आशंका पर सरकार की अब तक की सबसे बड़ी कार्यवाही मानी जा रहीं है
